All notable changes to sambat are documented here. The format follows Keep a Changelog, and the project adheres to Semantic Versioning. Changes to the calendar data (which change conversion results) are listed under Calendar data.

Entries are generated by towncrier from the fragments in changelog.d/.

Calendar data

• The calendar table covers BS 1975–2083. BS 2082 and 2083 are verified against the national panchang of the Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Bikas Samiti, and BS 2081 against the Surya Panchanga; the other years are cross-checked against open-source tables.

Features

• First release: sambat.date and sambat.datetime with full datetime parity, the sambat.calendar module, Nepali formatting and parsing, BS month arithmetic (sambat.delta), periods, Nepal’s fiscal year, and the sambat command line tool.
