Terms of Use

Last updated October 4, 2026

These terms apply to the DnD Anywhere browser extension (“the extension”) distributed through browser extension stores and GitHub, and to this website. By installing or using the extension, you agree to them.

1. License

The extension’s source code is free and open source under the MIT License. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the MIT License gives you to use, copy, modify and distribute the code. These terms cover your use of the distributed extension and this website.

2. What the extension does

The extension lets you drag and drop files onto file upload controls on websites. It passes the files you drop to the upload field you choose, as if you had selected them in your browser’s file dialog. It does not upload files anywhere itself. See the Privacy Policy.

3. Your responsibilities

4. No warranty

The extension and this website are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Websites change often; uploads through the extension may fail, be ignored by a site, or behave differently than with the site’s own file picker.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors are not liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, arising from or in connection with the extension, this website, or their use. This includes lost data, files sent to the wrong field or site, and failed submissions.

6. Third-party websites

The extension runs on websites operated by others. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for those websites, their content, or what they do with files you give them.

7. Trademarks

“DnD Anywhere” and its logo identify this project. You may use them to refer to the project, but not in a way that suggests endorsement of your product or confuses users about who made it. Forks distributed in extension stores should use a different name and icon.

Chrome is a trademark of Google LLC. Microsoft Edge is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Firefox is a trademark of the Mozilla Foundation. Other names belong to their owners. This project is not affiliated with any of them.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed, and material changes are noted in the changelog. You can stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop distributing the extension at any time.
